To me, my X-Men!
The X-Men have all been spoiled now lets have a deep dive.
Cyclops is the first leader for the Uncanny X-Men. Threat four, six Stamina on both sides, size two, four physical, three Energy and Mystic defence. His Leadership ability, X-Men Blue, allows allied characters within range three to give power for the activate character to use for attacks.
Cyclops' Optic Blast is his free attack range four strength five. Cyclop gains power equal to the damage dealt and on a wild push size two or less. Optic Devastation costs four power beam five strength seven. On a wild the target loses a power.
Cyclops wants to do a couple of things, blow things up from long range and support his team. It will be interesting to see how he plays on the table.

Storm's has three innate superpowers, flight, immunity to shock and Goddess of Storms which means enemies must be within range three to attack Storm. Storm's other powers are Eye of the Storm, allowing Storm add two dice to her next attack roll, and Tempest which is a size two throw short.
Beast has one active superpower which cost two power to throw short terrain or enemy character of size two or less within range two. Beast's final superpower is reactive and has a variable cost. When defending or dodging may spend up to three power to re roll of that many defence dice.
Cyclops has three superpowers. Field Leader is active power that costs three and another character with range four of cyclops advances short. A character can only be advanced by this once per turn. Hit and Run costs two power and an action, Cyclops makes an attack then a move. This power has been on other characters in various forms. Quick Draw is a reactive power that cost two power when attacked from beyond range two. Instead of rolling dice equal to defence Cyclops rolls five defence dice and if he suffers no damage the attacker suffers two damage.

Ororo Munroe, Storm, is the Uncanny X-Men other leader at three threat. Her leadership ability, X-Men Gold, Once per round during an allied character's activation if it is holding an objective token the character can be placed within range one of another allied character within range two. Additionally when an allied character is targeted by an attack that is not within range two they gain cover. Storm has three attacks, Lightning Bolt, Ice Blizzard and Hurricane. Lightning Bolt is range four, strength four, Storm gains power equal to damage dealt along with a wild shock. Ice Blizzard is a beam three strength four zero power that hands out stun. A free beam attack that stuns probably not going do heaps of damage but stun is powerful on alot of characters. Hurricane is an area two strength five with a cost of four power, ignores line of sight and cover. If an enemy with Flight they suffer an additional damage. Allied characters don't have to worry about suffering damage from this.

Storm's has three innate superpowers, flight, immunity to shock and Goddess of Storms which means enemies must be within range three to attack Storm. Storm's other powers are Eye of the Storm, allowing Storm add two dice to her next attack roll, and Tempest which is a size two throw short.
Henry McCoy, Beast, rounds out the Uncanny X-Men for this release. His first attack is Acrobatic Strike, range three, strength five Beast gains power equal to damage dealt and a wild ambush which places beast within range one of the target. A pretty standard basic strike not sure that being placed within one of the target will always be in Beast's best interest though. Animalistic Freestyle is Beast's other attack it is range two strength six and cost four powers. This attack hands out bleed and a wild push (Float like a ....) short if the target is size three or less. Beast has two innate superpowers Wall Crawler and Disoncerting, Yet Provocative which when more than one critical failure is in any dice roll Beast gains a power.

Beast at threat three with 11 stamina, I think he will fit into lots of rosters that may not have the rest of the X-Men in.
After working though the Uncanny X-Men and the Brotherhood of Mutants I want to try a four leadership roster with all eight of the X-Men and Brotherhood plus a couple extras.
I can not wait to get all of these characters on the table.
