 AMGs mini-stravaganza was online 18 to 20 March and a heap of spoilers were dropped for all of there games. X Wing got a new Huge ship, Armada got some reveals for upcoming ships, Marvel Crisis Protocol got a ton of announcements and reveals. Legion though got some extra spicy reveals. Yoda, you seek Yoda. The grand master of the Jedi has had his unit card revealed but not his command cards. Yoda is very much like Papa Palpatine in the way he is designed. His two attacks are straight at worse than Palpatine being 4 red in melee and 4 black at range with Blast at 1-2. Guidance is very much like Pull the Strings but can not make an attack action. We will need a RRG entry for but as written at the moment if you have Charge, Steady or Relentless it triggers after a move action from Guidance. Hello Yoda, Anakin lists.  O my god, finally we have the card for the merc with the mouth. We have seen his model for awhile now but I can not wait to get this model and paint him up. The biggest surprise for me was the 3 threat. I was sure that Deadpool was going to be a 4 threat. Deadpool has 4 stamina on his healthy side and 6 on his injured side, moves medium at size 2. His defences are 3 physical, 3 energy and 4 mystic. This is about normal for a 3 threat expect the extra one on the mystic. Deadpool's stab attack is range 2 strength 5 and costs no power but Deadpool gains power equal to damage dealt. So it is a staby strike. Strength 5 is nice for a 3 threat. Deadpool next attack is Bang it is range 4 strength 4 and 0 power and if a wild and hit is roll Bang, Bang goes off which is another attack against the same target and if this attack rolls wild and two hits Deadpool gets to make another bang attack against the same target.  FFG has revealed the Lando Commander and his many capes expansion for Star Wars Legion. I am going to start with the miniature, it looks like you get 2 heads and 3 different capes along with two poses. These is awesome and I don't know which way I will be building my Lando.  Lando comes in at 105pts with 6 health on a surging white defence. He also is courage 2 and surges to critical. Upgrade slots are command, training and gear. Nothing special so far but his unit keywords are were alot of the value for this character is. These are Contingencies 3, Covert Ops, Flawed, Sharpshooter 2 and Uncanny Luck. Lando's X-8 Night Sniper Pistol is range 3 red black Pierce 1.  Contingencies 3 allows Lando to place 3 command cards in a separate pile in addition to the normal command hand and these can be subbed in for the same pip card after revealing command cards by discarding the current card.  FFG have dropped full spoilers for the upcoming Agent Kallus Commander expansion for Star Wars Legion. He is 90pts base but has an armament that cost 25pts. Six wounds with red defence, courage two and surge to critical. He has Cunning, Sharpshooter 1, Tactical 1, Flawed and Contingencies 2. Flawed has only been seen on Anakin up until now. Contingencies is new thing that Lando and Kallus have, it allows them to add a new pool of command cards outside of the command hand. These cards can be swapped in after command cards have been revealed by discarding the selected command card. You can only do this with a command card with the same number of pips. Both cards must be legal to play. You can not reveal and discard a command card for a defeated character for example. On the face of it Kallus seems like different take on Krennic with some keywords switched around however his armament sets him apart. Kallus has the option to wield a J-19 Bo-Rifle, a weapon he received from a Lasat Roy...

 AMG have had there first stream discussing Star Wars. Will Shick and Simone discussed the future of the Star Wars Miniature Games. They discussed how the delays from the lockdown will start effecting production timelines. In short expect delays for new product development especially since some of the transferring team have not made it over to AMG.  Then Simone discussed the reasons for the move including a deliberate focus on miniature games. This to me says that AMG wants to really focus on being the best miniatures company. Considering the talent that AMG assembled to create Marvel Crisis Protocol I am keen to see what they can do. The big take away from the first 20mins is no change to the fundamentals at this stage. The biggest change is all social media will come from AMG but articles will still post on the FFG website starting immediately and also lock in Wednesdays and Fridays to talk about Star Wars games on the AMG Twitch page. Joining the Rebellion

 At the end of 2020 and the reveal of Lando I decided to take the plunge into Rebels. I have not been interested in the Rebels play style especially during the rampaging of Tauntarns. I have looking in at the Rebels disinterested in the way they play. I am not saying that Rebels were at any point bad or boring to play, they just did not appeal to me. That is until the last points change and the reveal of Lando.  Lando's style both on the battlefield and off has peaked my interest, so much so I have been able to get hold of a bunch of Rebel troopers, 2 ATRTs and 2 units Commandos. I have also added some Mandalorian Resistance, 2 Rebel Trooper Upgrades, a Rebel Specialist Pack and Cassian Andor.  Fantasy Flight Games have dropped spoilers for the Clone Wars Era Specialist packs. Starting with the Sith controlled Clones first. 55pts for 4 wounds courage 2 red dice defence commander. Upgrades options are command, training and gear. Sharpshooter 1 for his 3 black dice DC-15 even though the Clone Commander does not surge but he is still a good unit to fire support into due to that sweet Sharpshooter keyword. Two new keywords that were added in the last RRG update. Direct which is Entourage lite where every turn a Corp Clone Trooper Unit at range 1-2 is issued an order. Hello Fives' new best friend. Clone Commander directs Fives' unit and receives an order back or that ARC Trooper unit. Bolster 2 uses an action to hand out 2 surge tokens to units at range 1. This is directly comparably to Take Cover and Spotter on the generic Civil War Era Officers. I consider Bolster 2 better than Take Cover 1 but not as good as Spotter 1.
